CANCELED Richard Petty's Short Track Racing Series will take place November 20-22, 2014
Richard Petty Driving Experience (RPDE) will give enthusiasts the opportunity to experience what it is really like to race a NASCAR style stock car on a short track.  Twelve participants will compete in a three day race event that includes race training from professional instructors; individual and group practice sessions, qualifying and two 25 lap race events.

Limited to 12 participants! Contact us at 704.454.6224 or!

The registration fee for the Richard Petty's Short Track Racing Series is $10,000.

Eligible participants will meet at RPDE headquarters in Concord, NC on Day One. They meet the team and draw for the race car assignment. Participants will be fitted to their cars before starting any on track activities. The cars will be equally prepared NASCAR style stock cars from the RPDE fleet. All cars will have the identical chassis set up and will be tested prior to competition to equal performance. Instructors will conduct a drivers meeting where they will go over the competition rules and layout the schedule for on track activity.

On track activity will begin on Day Two and will include a session with a professional instructor to cover race procedures and conduct. Participants will have individual practice time on the track, followed by group practice sessions. During the individual sessions, participants will have the opportunity to do “mock” qualifying runs. Practice will be followed by the official qualifying session that will set the starting lineup for race #1.
