Every racecar driver wants to win the Daytona 500 and now you can feel what it’s like with Richard Petty Driving Experience at Daytona International Speedway. The views of “The World’s Most Famous Beach” are amazing, but nothing beats the view from driving or riding inside a 600HP NASCAR race car while your friends and family cheer you on from pit road.

Daytona International Speedway, known as “The World Center of Racing” is located in Daytona Beach, FL. It is a 2.5 mile tri-oval with 31 degree banking and is home to “The Daytona 500”, the biggest race in NASCAR.

RIDE-ALONG EXPERIENCES: Generally our Ride-Along Experience is offered between 9am to 4pm on days we are on track at most locations. Check out the track schedule here. Before heading to the track call 1.800.237.3889 to confirm dates/times.
Reservations are not required for Ride-Alongs at Daytona International Speedway, except during special events and Race Rides during NASCAR event weekends. Ride-Alongs, given in the form of gift cards, do not expire and are non-refundable. Click here to purchase a Ride-Along today!
JUNIOR RIDE-ALONGS @ DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY: Offered during the same times as our regular Ride-Alongs, Junior Ride-Alongs are only $69 (plus tax) and are for children between the ages of 6 and 13 years old and at least 48 inches in height. Enjoy the thrills and excitement of riding shotgun in a race car driven around the track by a professional instructor! Junior Ride-Alongs are available for purchase at the Daytona International Speedway track or online from our Ride-Along page.

DRIVING EXPERIENCES: Driving Experiences require reservations and can be purchased by clicking on the desired Experience button below. Effective 11/30/12 all driving experiences at Daytona International Speedway will utilize right seat instructor format.

*Note: A King’s Experience at Daytona International Speedway consist of 16 laps over 2 sessions. The Experience of a Lifetime at Daytona International Speedway consist of 24 laps over 3 sessions.

This fee is in lieu of a "crash clause" requiring each participant to commit a certain amount that will be forfeited in the event of an incident/crash. RPDE provides that each driver who pays the $25 Driver Release Fee will not be responsible for most damage to the car resulting from an incident/crash at the track. Only in the event that a driver intentionally or negligently fails to follow instructions which leads to an incident/crash will RPDE seek financial recompense for resulting damage to the vehicle.
