The nightlife on the Las Vegas Strip may be legendary, but when the sun is up the action is always at Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s top attraction, Richard Petty Driving Experience. There is no better way to complete your trip to Las Vegas than to challenge your friends and family on the track at speeds of up to 155 MPH.

Las Vegas Motor Speedway, located approximately 15 miles from “The Strip” in Las Vegas, NV, is a 1.5 mile tri-oval. It hosts a number of racing series including the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series.

RIDE-ALONG EXPERIENCES: At Las Vegas Motor Speedway generally our Ride-Along Experience is offered between 9am to 3pm on most days we are on track except for dates listed below. Check out our track schedule here. Before heading to the track call 1.800.237.3889 to confirm dates/times. Ride-Alongs are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Reservations are not required for Ride-Alongs at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, except during special events, the Las Vegas Ride Tour and Race Rides during NASCAR event weekends. TEENS RIDE FOR $29: When a parent/guardian purchases a Ride-Along Experience, their Teenager (ages 14-19) can participate in a Ride-Along Experience as well for $29 (plus tax where applicable). Teen Rides must be purchased At Track. Some restrictions apply.

DRIVING EXPERIENCES: Driving Experiences require reservations and can be purchased by clicking on the desired Experience button below. Effective 9/7/12 all driving experiences at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will utilize right seat instructor format.

AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR CHALLENGE - DRIVING EXPERIENCES: This program takes place on a test track environment and has four modules, each designed to demonstrate the specific performance characteristics of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 and Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. Reservations are required. For more program information click here or to book select the Muscle Car Challenge button below. Operation of a manual transmission is required.

TRANSPORTATION: The Las Vegas Ride Tour and Las Vegas Rookie Tour include transportation from The Strip to Las Vegas Motor Speedway and back.

This fee is in lieu of a "crash clause" requiring each participant to commit a certain amount that will be forfeited in the event of an incident/crash. RPDE provides that each driver who pays the $25 Driver Release Fee will not be responsible for most damage to the car resulting from an incident/crash at the track. Only in the event that a driver intentionally or negligently fails to follow instructions which leads to an incident/crash will RPDE seek financial recompense for resulting damage to the vehicle.
